The traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena and Reggio Emilia is a unique, precious and refined condiment.

Obtained from fermented grape musts, with the addition of aged vinegar and wine vinegar, and aged in wood, the Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and Reggio Emilia is a condiment with an ancient history that has been able to successfully adapt to the flavors of modern cuisine and to diverse gastronomic cultures. It is distinguished by its delicate, persistent aroma, with a pleasant and harmonious acidity, by its intense brown colour, by its acetic odor with possible woody notes and by its sweet and sour and balanced flavour. In 2009, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena was registered as a PGI by the European Union. The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and Reggio is today one of the ambassadors of Italian food and wine excellence in the world: it is in fact exported to 120 countries.
