The fortified village is located a few km from Castelvetro, in the hamlet of Levizzano Rangone.
Its origin is very ancient (before the year 1000), modified over the centuries and passed between different owners; the central male is known as Torre Matildica. Isolated from the other (modern) houses in the hamlet, it retains its medieval charm intact. The view from the outside of the whole of the small fortified village is particularly beautiful. It preserves rooms with beautiful wooden ceilings and frescoes.
