Spread over terraces on top of a plateau, Akragas was one of the largest Greek cities in the Mediterranean and its remains make this archaeological site the most important in the world. Since 1997 the area has been declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
The valley of the temples represents the most important evidence of Magna Graecia in Sicily. You will be able to visit ten Doric temples, which make this park unique in the world. You will find yourself in the middle of several necropolises and you will be able to visit the sanctuaries present within the site.
