Don't miss the Villarosa train, which will take you inside eight carriages to discover the history of the railway and mining activities.
Treno Museo was founded in 1995 on the initiative of the station master Primo David, who transformed the station into a museum to save it from closure. Thanks to David, the trains still pass on these tracks of memory, where you can immerse yourself in a particular piece of history made up of period objects, photos and tools. The wagons are transformed from a place of death to a place of culture, because they were the wagons used to transport Jews to the sorting camps.
