Near the mouth of the Cassibile river, between Avola and Syracuse, the Marchesa beach extends, known above all as Gelsomineto beach, so called because jasmine also grows there.
Walk in the fine white sand, bathe in a crystal clear sea, this uncontaminated and suggestive oasis is surrounded by the Gelsomineto pine forest where the thick forest of maritime pines is located directly on the edge of the beach. At one end of the coast you can lie in the sun on the limestone cliff.
