Even if you are not an art lover, you cannot miss the climb to the Getty Center! Park directly in the underground car park and take the monorail to the top of the hill! From the top you can admire all of Los Angeles from above, with the Skyline of the skyscrapers of Downtown Los Angeles. The modern design was designed by architect Richard Meier and is perfectly integrated into the hill.
The birth of this complex is due to Jean Paul Getty (1892-1976), American industrialist and founder of the Getty Oil Company. His passion for art and antiques prompted him to carry out a very ambitious project precisely because it was equally heartfelt in which the search for pieces to collect was even more exciting than possession. The result is superlative and today thousands of visitors from all over the world benefit from it.
