The "Hollywood" sign that stands out from the top of Mount Lee is perhaps one of the best-known images in all of Los Angeles (if not the whole of California). The letters of the Hollywood Sign were designed by Thomas Fisk Goff, owner of the company who also took care of the construction: white, 15 meters high and 9 meters wide, illuminated by about 4,000 light bulbs, they cost something like 21,000 dollars.
