The Museum is a neo-Islamic building, perhaps more representative for Islamic Cairo than for the centre, however, its location makes it easily identifiable for those visiting the centre: it is just a 20-minute walk east of Midan et-Tahrir and, even if few tourists include it in their visit programme, it is really worth seeing.
