Visit Colossus of Ramesses II

The Egyptian pharaoh Ramses II (1279 BC - 1213 BC) had numerous colossus of himself erected throughout the territory of ancient Egypt. Of these, the most famous are certainly those that adorn the entrance to the main temple at Abu Simbel, in addition to the one placed for a long time in the station square in Cairo (and subsequently transferred to the Grand Egyptian Museum) and the one preserved, lying down, in Memphis.
