Inside the Nebrodi Park you will find this itinerary which develops near the village of Maniace. During the journey you will enter one of the wettest areas of the region, visiting fresh water springs at about 1300 m above sea level. The route is about 18 km long and takes 7/8 hours.
The path is an 18 km ring that starts and ends in Maniace, at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level. The path is well signposted and easy to follow, whether you are on foot or on a mountain bike. The route allows you to touch various springs: the first are Farina Fanusa and Donnavida, Virgilio, at an altitude of 1300 metres, and Serra Spina, at 1550 metres, near which there is a plateau, which represents the highest point of the route and from which you reach the Nelson Obelisk. From here you then reach the sources Arcarolo, del Medico, Sperone and Uomo Morto. At some of them there are refuges and equipped areas, also signposted.
