Its coast, 26 kilometers long, has a great variety of natural landscapes, ranging from very white beaches to picturesque rocky coves, and a sea that varies from the characteristic blue of the shallow waters to an intense and deep blue, where you can snorkel. Visibility goes beyond 50 meters, so it is easy to admire one of the greatest underwater biodiversity that the Mediterranean Sea offers.
In the south-west part of Lampedusa, where the Spiaggia dei Conigli stands, elected by some rankings the most beautiful beach in the world and with nothing to envy to those of the Caribbean. The beach, within walking distance, is bathed by a sea of spectacular color tones ranging from green to blue. The sand is white and very fine and the water is always warm. Opposite the beach is the tiny Isola dei Conigli, which can be reached on foot at low tide or by walking on the water. In this protected area the loggerhead turtles lay their eggs.
