Shelly Beach (or also Shelley Beach) is a beach in Manly, a suburb of Sydney. It is contiguous with North Head and Fairy Bower. Shelly Beach is the only western beach that faces the east coast of Australia and is protected from ocean waves by the reef located to its right. The beach has two free electric barbecues, showers, toilets and a kiosk selling soft drinks, meat and ice cream. Shelly Beach has been a protected marine reserve since Cabbage Bay. On the beach many diving activities are carried out for novices thanks to the safety of the site.
