The "domus de janas" (fairy houses) are the artificial caves in which various bodies were deposited. They appear in the recent Neolithic (culture of Ozieri) but their use lasts, thanks to the practice of reuse, up to the Eneolithic and, in some cases, to the ancient Bronze Age (culture of Bonnannaro).
