Joe's Special is one of the oddest and divine scrambles known to man. Joe's Special is a dish that originated in San Francisco, in the 1920s, at a popular restaurant called Original Joe's. It always includes eggs, garlic, spinach, and ground beef. As a dinner entree, the dish can be served on slices of toasted sourdough bread spread with garlic butter, or on a bed of rice or pasta. It is also served as a breakfast dish.
The Italian Joe is made with sausage, and a Mexican Joe is made with chorizo.
