Ostuni is an Italian town of 31318 inhabitants in the province of Brindisi in Puglia. Also known as the White City, due to its characteristic historic center which was once entirely painted with white lime, today only partially. Ostuni stands on three hills at a height of 218 meters above sea level, and is located 8 km from the Adriatic coast. The renowned tourist center of Ostuni, from 1994 to 2017 received the Blue Flag and the five sails of Legambiente for cleaning the waters of its coast.
