Litoranea da Otranto a Leuca

The extraordinarily clear sea, the colors of the water, the sheer cliffs, one of the most beautiful and evocative stretches of coast in all of Puglia. Traveling for 51 kilometres, between ups and downs and curves, you will be amazed by the spectacular nature of nature, which has been able to create contrasts and suggestions of extraordinary beauty.

Starting from Otranto, you cannot miss a stop at the Palascia lighthouse, which can be reached via a small steep path. It is the easternmost lighthouse in Italy, the point where, it is said, dawn rises first. Other recommended stops are: Torre Sant'Emiliano, Porto Badisco, Santa Cesarea Terme, Castro and the Grotta della Zinzulusa, La Grotta Verde and de La Botte, Tricase Porto, Marina di Tiggiano and Marina di Novaglie. After the Ciolo bridge, the journey ends in Leuca, with the famous Sanctuary of the Madonna De Finibus Terrae.
