This monastery was built in Segovia in northern Spain between 1133 and 1141, but about 800 years later the entrepreneur William Randolph Hearst bought it and had it disassembled into several stones to receive it, each of which was packed in more than 11,000 boxes of wood and shipped to Miami. Today it is an Episcopal church where services are held in both English and Spanish. Inside the monastery there is also a well-kept garden, which makes this place even more welcoming and very suitable for celebrating weddings or receptions.
