The Whitechapel Art Gallery is a public art gallery, founded in 1901 with the aim of spreading the knowledge of modern art in the east area of the city of London. It is located very close to the Aldgate East tube exit.
The gallery is much appreciated by the British for the variety it is capable of offering, above all thanks to the temporary exhibitions, even if they are very different from each other. The exhibitions change their topic considerably, ranging from photography to cinematography rather than ceramics. It will not fail to surprise the most curious visitors.
