The Whitechapel Art Gallery is a public art gallery, founded in 1901 with the aim of spreading the knowledge of modern art in the east area of the city of London. It is located very close to the Aldgate East tube exit.
The gallery is much appreciated by the British for the variety it is capable of offering, above all thanks to the temporary exhibitions, even if they are very different from each other.
