Monte Pizzocolo is a mountain in the Brescia and Gardesane Prealps that rises in the immediate hinterland of the Brescia shore of Lake Garda between the municipalities of Toscolano Maderno, Gardone Riviera, Gargnano and overlooks the Toscolano Valley. The beauty of the mountain also struck Giosuè Carducci, state commissioner in Desenzano del Garda at the Bagatta high school towards the end of the 19th century, who narrated it in his ode "Sirmione". From the top there are wide panoramic views, it is possible to see a large part of Lake Garda and the Po valley to the south up to seeing the chain of the Apennines.
