The museum headquarters of Palazzo Schifanoia is housed in a Delizia Estense in via Scandiana 23, in Ferrara. The palace was built in 1385 and the chosen name (literally: disgusting boredom) was intended to underline its function at the Este court, i.e. as a building intended for rest and leisure.
