Amphitheater World Wonders, World

The temple of the gladiators Colosseo

The Colosseum, originally known as the Amphitheatrum Flavium, is the largest amphitheater in the world, located in the center of the city of Rome.

It was formerly used for gladiator shows and other public events (hunting shows, re-enactments of famous battles, and dramas based on classical mythology)

Worth more than one visit but you don’t need to go inside each time. The Colosseum changes mood with the light. Visit it at night =no crowds
