War Remnants Museum

Museum Vietnam, Vietnam

A shocking reminder of the long and brutal Vietnam War War Remnants Museum

The War Remnants Museum is a war museum at 28 Vo Van Tan, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. Here are collected artifacts related to the Vietnam War and the First Indochina War. The museum comprises a number of themed rooms in several buildings, featuring period military equipment, including a UH-1 "Huey" helicopter, F-5A fighter, bomb, M48 Patton tank, A-bomber 1 Skyraider and one A-37 Dragonfly bomber. Also there are a number of pieces of unexploded ordnance stored in the corner of the courtyard, with their charges and/or fuses removed.

The War Remnants Museum is currently one of the most popular museums in Vietnam, with around half a million visitors each year. According to the museum's estimates, about two-thirds of these are foreigners.
