Grouse Mountain is one of the mountains in the North Shore Mountains, in the District Municipality of North Vancouver. With an elevation of 1200 meters at its peak, it is the site of an alpine ski area, Grouse Mountain Resort, overlooking Greater Vancouver with four chair lifts serving 26 runs. In the summer, Grouse Mountain offers lumberjack shows, a bird of prey demonstration, a scenic chairlift ride, and a 1.8-mile hiking trail.
