Via Roma is the most imposing street and one of the main streets of the historic center of Turin. It connects the very central Piazza Castello to the historic Porta Nuova station and includes Piazza C.L.N. and the famous Piazza San Carlo, ending in Piazza Carlo Felice. Oriented on the north-south axis, it runs parallel to the Roman layout of the ancient Julia Augusta Taurinorum.
