Porta Palazzo (Pòrta Pila in the Piedmontese language), is the area to the north-west of the historic center of Turin, which delimits the Centro - area of the Roman Quadrilateral to the south, and Aurora, the Borgo Dora-Balon area to the north. Its fulcrum is the octagonal Piazza della Repubblica which, with its 51,300 m², is the largest square in the city, which hosts the largest open-air market in Europe every day.
