In the heart of the Piedmontese capital, in one of the busiest streets in the centre, this jewel of Baroque art of Catholic worship is hidden, the Cappella dei Banchieri e dei Mercanti, where in addition to the liturgies numerous concerts of classical music are held, being the place of excellent acoustics.
This Chapel was built at the end of the 1600s to allow the Congregation of Bankers, Shopkeepers and Merchants to have a meeting space for meetings that was at the same time a place to pray. Inside the chapel there are several paintings, frescoes and decorations that date back mostly to the 17th and 18th centuries.
