The Egyptian Museum of Turin is the oldest museum in the world entirely dedicated to the Nilotic civilization and is considered, in terms of value and quantity of finds, the most important in the world after the one in Cairo. In 2004, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage entrusted it to the "Fondazione Museo Egizio di Torino" to manage it.
