Tokyo Tower (東京タワー Tōkyō Tawā) is a communications and observation tower located within the Shiba-kōen ward of Minato, Tokyo, Japan. At 333m tall, it is the second tallest man-made structure in Japan, and the 23rd tallest in the world. The structure is a lattice tower inspired by the Eiffel Tower painted in white and international orange in order to comply with aviation safety regulations.
