Harajuku (原宿 Harajuku?) is the common name for the area surrounding Harajuku Station on the Yamanote Line in Shibuya, one of Tokyo's 23 special wards. The area is universally known for being a hotbed of street styles and extremely innovative youth trends. Harajuku is Tokyo's most extrovert fashion district, from Gothic Lolita to Ganguro. For those who want to do cosplay, this is the right neighborhood.
