The Singapore River is a river that runs parallel to Alexandra Road and feeds into the Marina Basin in the southern part of the city. Several boat tours are organized along this river, departing from Clarke Quey pier, crossing the financial district, passing the Fullerton Hotel and the Esplanade Theater, until reaching Marina Bay. Boat tours depart approximately every 20 minutes and there is no need to purchase tickets in advance.
