Called in Sardinian Piscina 'e Cerbu (swimming pool of the deer), they are found near the beach of Coccorrocci, south of Cardedu, in Ogliastra. They arise from the su accu e axina spring, in Monte Ferru, and are set among red porphyry rocks, immersed in uncontaminated nature.
