3 km away from the village of Monolithos are the splendid ruins of a Castle. From here the view is spectacular, your gaze can go as far as the islands of Halki and Alimia and the numerous islets that stand out to the west of the western coast of Rhodes. In fact, the ruins of the ancient fortress stand out on a steep rock 236 meters above sea level, dominating the gulf below. Inside the walls there are two chapels from the 1400s whitewashed with candid white lime.
