The Filerimos hill dominates the whole panorama of the north of the island of Rhodes and is located about 15 kilometers from the capital city. Here is a monastery built by the Knights of St. John in honor of the Virgin and preserves a wonderful medieval cloister inside. At the top of the Filerimos hill, 267 meters above sea level, there is a via crucis which ends at a huge cross, it is 18 meters high, inside which there is a staircase where it is possible to climb to admire the fantastic landscape.
