Visit the Inca Ruins of Písac

Písac is a Peruvian village located in the Sacred Valley, on the Urubamba River. The village is most famous for the market held every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, an event that attracts many tourists from nearby Cuzco. The sanctuary of Huanca, site of pilgrimages in September, is also located near this village. This area is mainly famous for the Inca ruins, known as Písac Inca, located on top of a hill at the entrance to the valley.
