Trondheim is a municipality and city in Norway, located in Sør-Trøndelag County. The city was founded in the year 997 by the Viking king Olaf I of Norway. Currently the city has about 187,353 inhabitants, to which must be added the approximately 30,000 students who attend the University of science and technology.
