Trolltunga is a rock outcropping near the village of Skjeggedal in the Hordaland region, Odda, Hordaland region in Norway. It is located 1100 meters above sea level and hangs 700 meters above the Ringedalsvatnet lake. The excursion starts in Skjeggedal to the right of a now disused funicular and takes about 5 hours to get there and as many back. This route winds along lush vegetation full of waterfalls and steep peaks and is recommended from June to September.
