De syv søstre make up a small mountain range on the island of Alsten. There are actually only six peaks, but a local legend attributes to one peak the nature of "twin sisters". These mountains are a popular tourist attraction for trekking enthusiasts, and offer splendid views of the surrounding landscapes. The surrounding area is nicknamed by the locals "The Kingdom of the Thousand Islands", and on the clearest days you will be able to guess the origin of this nickname with your own eyes.
