A colored postcard-like dock Bryggen

Bryggen (the pier) is a complex of colorful commercial buildings, which line the eastern side of Vågen Harbor in Bergen. The city was founded around 1070, becoming over time an important center of commerce. Currently the Bryggen has 58 structures, including bazaars, souvenir shops and museums. It has been on the UNESCO list of World Cultural Heritage Sites for about 40 years.
