Sognefjord is the longest fjord in Norway and the second longest in the world after Scoresby Sund in Greenland. It stretches for 204 km, is characterized by untouched nature, mountains and waterfalls. Its mountains are home to the Jostedalsbreen glacier, the largest on land in Europe, with an area of 487 km2. In addition to the glacier there is the Jotunheim National Park.
