Nigardsbreen is a "frozen arm" of the large Jostedalsbreen glacier. In front of the Nigardsbreen, is the lake Nigardsbrevatnet where there is a small boat to transport visitors to the glacier. This area hosts the Breheimsenteret museum which is located 11 kilometers south of the nearby village of Jostedal.
