Kjosfossen is a spectacular waterfall located in the Aurland municipality of Sognefjord, Norway. The waterfall is one of the major tourist attractions in the country. The Flåmsbana, an electric traction railway, has a stop station directly in front of the waterfall and allows a panoramic view, from below, of all 220 m of development with a train stop of about 5 minutes. During the main tourist season in the summer an actress dressed as the legendary Huldra (a seductive Scandinavian forest creature) dances and sings in front of the waterfall as the trains roll into the station for the amusement of tourists.
