Borgund Stave Church

An unconventional not-anymore-Church Borgund Stave Church

Borgund Stave Church is a stave church located in the village of Borgund. This sacred place was built between 1180 and 1250, using wooden planks for the walls and stone for the bases. Currently this church is no longer used for church services, but is home to a museum run by the Society for the Preservation of Ancient Norwegian Monuments .
