In the wide paved square of Brooklyn you can admire a great triumphal arch. It is located between the north corner and the main entrance of Prospect Park.
The arch was dedicated to the Union Army, a small army that fought during the Civil War. On the top you can see a bronze Victory cart, while on the sides, as to protect it, you will find two detailed sculptural groups that celebrate the army and the navy. You have to see the monument from the top to the base, where you will see Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant presidents on horseback.
