The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to the United States for the centenary of the War of Independence, and is universally recognized as a symbol of freedom and democracy.
This symbol stands on Liberty Island in New York Bay as if to welcome tourists, immigrants and Americans returning home. The statue is 46 meters high, but with the pedestal it reaches 93 meters in height. It is possible to get there by boat from Battery Park. It will be possible to visit the Statue up to the top only by booking the ticket months in advance, alternatively you will reach Liberty Island to be able to admire it from the park below and take beautiful photos of the city skyline.
