Roosevelt Island is an island approximately 3.5 kilometers long and 250 meters wide and has nearly 12,000 inhabitants. A strip of land on the East River, not far from Manhattan.
This island, a few steps from Manhattan, can be reached by subway (Line F). Here you can visit the Lighthouse Park Faro Island and one of the oldest houses in New York, The Blackwell House. But what will make this visit unforgettable is the return to Manhattan by cable car. The funicular departs every 15 minutes and arrives at Manhattan Tram plaza, a station located on 2nd Avenue and 60th St. From here you can enjoy a splendid view of the skyline of the Big Apple and take magnificent photographs.
