The High Line, a magnificent example of urban redevelopment, is one of the most beautiful walks in New York.
It is a 2.3 km long park built on the site of the West Side Line, a disused elevated railway line. The route winds its way from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District, through the Chelsea district, to then end in the West Village, at 34th Street, near the Javits Convention Center. An elevated walk that will give you the opportunity to discover the city from a different perspective.
