Phewa Lake, Phewa Tal or Fewa Lake is a freshwater lake in Nepal located in the southern area of the Pokhara Valley which includes the city of Pokhara; parts of Sarangkot and Kaskikot. The lake is fed, but a dam regulates the water supply, as a result, the lake is classified as a semi-natural freshwater lake. Phewa Lake is located at an elevation of 742 m and covers an area of about 5.23 km2.
It has an average depth of about 8.6 m and a maximum depth of 24 m. The maximum capacity of the lake is approximately 43 million cubic meters.
