Old Freak Street, or Freak Street is a small street located to the south of Kathmandu's Durbar Square. Currently known as Old Freak Street, this former street used to be called Freak Street and referred to the hippie route of the 1960s and 70s. The history of Old Freak Street and its prime location in the heart of Kathmandu still make it a popular destination among the locals today.
