Changu Narayan

The ancient Hindu temple of Changu Narayan is located on a hill, known as Changu or Dolagiri. The temple was surrounded by champak forest and a small village known as Changu. This shrine is dedicated to Lord Visnu and held in particular reverence by the Hindu people.

With the development of tourism in this place, we can find many small and medium-sized hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. An ancient stone faucet is found on the road to Changunaran which is believed to have existed since the time of Lichhavi.
