Annapurna Circuit is the name by which one of the most famous treks around Annapurna in central Nepal is known. The total length of the route varies between 160 and 230 km, depending on how much motor vehicles are used and where the trek ends. Climb up to an altitude of 5,416 m at the Thorung La pass, skimming the Tibetan plateau. Practically all trekkers carry out the excursion in an anti-clockwise direction, because, in this way, the gradient is more regular and the high route to Thorong La is easier and safer.
The trek allows you to see from an exceptional position, the peaks of the Annapurna I-IV massif, and other famous mountains, such as Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu, Gangapurna (7455m) and Tilicho Peak (7134m).
